We had a great result at the Royal Queensland Food & Wine Show recently, with our 2016 Poole’s Rock Pinot Noir taking home a gold medal, and the ‘Best Pinot Noir of Show’ award!
This wine is cherry red with bright violet hues. The bouquet displays lifted aromas of cranberry and boysenberry, with hints of truffle and spice. The palate is juicy and bright with fresh cherries and cranberries, hints of spice and a velvety texture. This will also be our last Pinot from Tasmania before we move to the cool mountains of the Adelaide Hills.
Our 2016 Cockfighter’s Ghost Reserve Semillon also won a gold medal – well done to the winemaking team!
